മനോഹരമായൊരു ഉല്ലാസക്കപ്പലിലും പുറം നാടുകളിലെ സുന്ദരസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലുമായാണ്‌ ചിത്രം പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നത്. മനുഷ് നന്ദന്റെ ക്യാമറ, ഈ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളെല്ലാം വര്‍ണപ്പൊലിമയോടെ ഒപ്പിയെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ചിത്രസം‍യോജകന്‍ ഷാന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് ഇവയെല്ലാം ഒഴുക്കോടെ ചേര്‍ത്തുവെച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. പശ്ചാത്തലസംഗീതവും ഗാനങ്ങളും ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ദേവി ശ്രീ പ്രസാദും മികവു പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നു. കമല്‍ ഹാസനും പ്രിയ ഹിമേഷും ചേര്‍ന്നാലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന "നീലവാനം, നീയും ഞാനും..." എന്ന ഗാനമാണ്‌ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ കേമം. കമല്‍ ഹാസന്‍ പാടിയിരിക്കുന്ന "ദഗുഡു ദട്ടാം..." ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു കേട്ടാല്‍ ഒരുപക്ഷെ രസിക്കണമെന്നില്ല, എന്നാല്‍ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ വരുമ്പോള്‍ കണ്ടിരിക്കാന്‍ രസമുണ്ട്. മുകേഷും സുചിത്രയും പാടിയിരിക്കുന്ന "ഒയ്യാലേ..." സൂര്യയുടേയും തൃഷയുടേയും നൃത്തത്തിന്റെ ബലത്തില്‍ കാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുതകും. ഇടയ്ക്കിടയ്ക്ക് വരുന്ന ആക്ഷന്‍ രംഗങ്ങള്‍, അവയുടെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്‍ക്കൊണ്ട് മികവോടെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് സംഘട്ടന സംവിധായകന്‍.
തമിഴില്‍ ഇപ്പോളിറങ്ങുന്ന നവാഗതരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളോട് തട്ടിച്ചു നോക്കിയാല്‍ ഏറെ പിന്നിലാണ്‌ 'മന്‍ മദന്‍ അമ്പ്'. കെ.എസ്. രവികുമാറും കമല്‍ ഹാസനും ഇതിനു മുന്‍പൊരുമിച്ച, ഇതേ ജനുസ്സില്‍ പെട്ട 'തെനാലി'യിലെ പോലെ രസച്ചരടു പൊട്ടാതെപോവുന്നൊരു കഥയോ, ഓര്‍ത്തോര്‍ത്തു ചിരിക്കുവാനുതകുന്ന നര്‍മ്മമോ ഒന്നും മന്മഥന്റെ ഈ അമ്പിലില്ല. ചുരുക്കത്തില്‍, ഒരുവട്ടം കണ്ടാല്‍ മുഷിവു തോന്നാത്ത മട്ടിലൊക്കെ ഒപ്പിച്ചുവെയ്ക്കുവാന്‍ സൃഷ്ടാക്കള്‍ക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നു മാത്രം പറയാം!
വാല്‍ക്കഷ്ണം: ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനൊരു ഗുണപാഠം നല്‍കുവനുണ്ട്. അതെന്തെന്നാല്‍, കാറോടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ സീറ്റ് ബെല്‍റ്റിടണം, അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ സംഗതി മൊത്തം കുഴഞ്ഞുമറിയും.

കെ.എസ്. രവികുമാറിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തില്‍ കമല്‍ ഹാസന്‍, തൃഷ, മാധവന്‍, സംഗീത തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ അണിനിരക്കുന്ന 'മന്‍ മദന്‍ അമ്പി'ന്റെ വിശേഷങ്ങളുമായി ചിത്രവിശേഷം വീണ്ടും.

അപ്പൊ മൊത്തത്തില്‍ ..പോര അല്ലെ ....മൈനയാണ്‌ നല്ലത് എന്നാണല്ലോ കേള്കുന്നത് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പഞ്ഞില്ല .

ഇന്നലെ കണ്ടു.മൊത്തത്തിൽ നിരാശപ്പെടുത്തി, ആദ്യ പകുതി അത്ര ബോറായി തോന്നിയില്ല.

Ingineyengil Best Actor & Marikkundoru kunjaadu, deserves a really high rating.

ReplyDeleteI am an avid follower of this site and most of my decisions on watching a movie at theater are based on the reviews from this site, and most of the times your review hasn't disappointed me.
This time I am completely disappointed about the rating. Even though i agree with you on certain comments, i totally disagree with the points you have given. As an average human, when a rating is done out of 10, anything above 5 is above average for me, and this movie(wait a min, was that a movie? is this what movie goers expect when two veterans like Kamal and Ravikumar work together?)
Script wasnt good, certain characters were unnecessary. I didnt see any songs worth listening, only relief was the ship and Caroline, rest is utter waste. I couldnt really tolerate the movie.

ReplyDeleteസിനിമയുടെ ആദ്യപകുതി രസകരമായാണ്‌ അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത്, പിന്നീടങ്ങോട്ട് വളരെ മോശമായും. അതനുസരിച്ച് ആവറേജ് റേറ്റിംഗാണ്‌ കഥയ്ക്കും സംവിധാനത്തിനുമൊക്കെ നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള റേറ്റിംഗ് കൂടുവാന്‍ കാരണം അഭിനേതാക്കളുടെ മികച്ചപ്രകടനവും ഇതര ഘടകങ്ങളുമാണെന്ന് വേര്‍തിരിച്ചുള്ള പോയിന്റുകളില്‍ നിന്നും മനസിലാക്കാം. റേറ്റിംഗ് രീതിയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇവിടെ നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത് നോക്കുക.
